This 13-day Qatari vacation takes you to Doha before connecting to a private island resort in the Maldives. It features deluxe accommodations, international airfare, and shared tours. 

Your trip to Qatar begins with a flight with Qatari Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines. Arrive in Doha, the Qatari capital and one of the rising stars of the Middle East. Discover its famous skyline, cultural highlights, and impressive array of events and state-of-the-art facilities on a city tour. Start at the winding corridors of Souq Waqif, the city’s traditional marketplace and first stop for shoppers. Continue along the Corniche to view the towering skyline of glass skyscrapers. Continue along the waterfront, which offers arguably the best views of the city, before reaching the Katara Cultural Village, the nation’s largest cultural exhibition, with a variety of theatres, galleries, shopping centres, and restaurants all in one convenient location. Cap off the tour on The Pearl-Qatar, a 4km-long man-made island with a stretch of the city’s best luxury shopping and residential buildings. The rest of your time in the city is at leisure. 

Connect back to the airport and continue your vacation to the Maldives, where you’ll stay at Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa for 7 nights. Staying in one of the 5-star resort’s 112 suites and villas, you’ll have access to the private islands and blue ocean of the South Ari Atoll. Spend your days relaxing along the powdery white-sand beaches or snorkelling through the coral reefs surrounding the islands. Book a scuba diving adventure to nearby dive sites or go sailing to nearby islands. You’ll also take advantage of the full-range of amenities at the resort, including its several restaurants and pools, water sports, and award-winning spa, which offers rejuvenating treatments to relax and recharge your body. 

At the end of your Maldives vacation, connect to the airport for your flight back to North America via Doha with Qatar Airways.

ITINERARY

Day One: Depart From North America

Depart North America for Doha on Qatar Airways.

Day Two: Arrive in Doha

Meet and Greet: Welcome to Qatar! Our local representative will meet you airside on the aerobridge / at the aircraft with a signboard with your name on it. Once you have been identified, you will be escorted through passport and immigration to the baggage claim area to collect your bags (porterage is included in the rate). You will then be escorted into the arrivals hall and assisted to your onward transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day Three: Discover Doha

This morning, embark on your half-day tour of Doha. After pick up from your hotel, you'll discover the unique heritage of Downtown Doha as you wander through the vibrant labyrinth of alleyways of Souq Waqif. View modern-day Doha's towering iconic architecture as you drive along the Corniche, Doha's iconic waterfront where the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf provide the setting to the city's impressive skyline. We then proceed to Katara Cultural Village which is the largest cultural project in Qatar. Experience the cultures of the world with beautiful theatres, concert halls, exhibition galleries, and cutting-edge facilities. Next, head to The Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island with luxury accommodation, high-end shopping, and fine dining. Marvel at superyachts as you stroll along the marina, chic boutiques, and luxury car dealerships in a setting inspired by the architecture of the Middle East and the Mediterranean before heading back to your hotel.

Day Four: Doha at Leisure

Today is totally free and at leisure. You can take advantage of any optional activities available or simply relax.

Day Five:Arrive in Maldives

You will be met at Velana Internationa Airport and transferred by seaplane to your resort. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day Six to Eleven: Maldives at Leisure

Surrounded by the blue ocean of the South Ari Atoll and adorned with distinctive timbered walkways and colonial-style buildings, Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives is a barefoot paradise with a palm-fringed beach and shimmering lagoon. The resort features deluxe and spacious villas & suites blended harmoniously with the natural setting. There are exceptional opportunities to discover the exotic life of the Maldives underwater. Snorkellers will find a kaleidoscope of colour in the house reef and divers can explore a shipwreck dive site just off the island. Day Twelve: Depart Maldives

Transfer by seaplane back to Velana International airport for your return flight to Doha and onwards to North America.

The best and easiest way to get to would be by via airplane, which is included in your package.

Which Airport Do I Fly Into?

The airport that you will fly into will be Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Male International Airport (MLE).

What Time Is Check-In?

We know that you can’t control the timing of flights and when they’re scheduled to arrive. Check in to the hotels will be 2pm. If available on the day early check-in will be granted.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK OUT?

Do I Have to Be In Canada or The United States to Join The Trip?

No, this trip is open to anyone in the world that has access to flying into Dubai and Maldives.

Should I Get Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance is not required, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance. It's always important to travel, knowing that if there was an emergency to erupt that you will be 100% covered. We offer insurance for all trips; please inquire for more information.

What Are The Rooms Like And Will I Be Sharing?

The rooms are for double/single occupancy. If you book with a friend, you will be able to share a room with them if you don't want to share a room with your friend you will be able to request a single occupancy room. Any special requests that you may need please feel free to contact us.
