The VILLA
Speaking of your accommodations… The villa that we will be staying in is a 12-room villa located in the most peaceful area in Canguu. Just five minutes from the beach, it’s the perfect spot to relax and experience the beauty of Bali’s landscape. Each room offers a private bathroom, AC, and free wifi. All guests have access to the villa’s outdoor kitchen to store snacks and treats but we will be providing you with breakfast throughout the week. Our on-site chef will be crafting authentic Balinese cuisine — bubur mengguh! babi guling! — that will make your mouth water.
You might be tempted to spend your whole trip in the gorgeous villa but Bali has a lot more to offer. We’ve planned visits to Bali’s most Instagrammed spot, the Handara Gate and the gorgeous Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (it floats!). In your free time, you can shop at Bali’s trendiest boutiques, experience its best restaurants, and dance all night in its lavish night clubs.

Itinerary
Day One: Welcome Dinner
We know due to flight scheduling sometimes you may arrive earlier than expected for check in or you may arrive late. We totally understand that. So with that being said you may arrive anytime of the day for on October 9th 2020 as there will be staff on site to accommodate you no matter what time you arrive.
Meals: Dinner
Day Two: Beach Day
In the morning, we will have an authentic Balinese breakfast for you. That'll be served from 7:00 am until 10:00 am. We will then be picked up and head to Kuta Beach, Dreamland Beach and Jimbaran Beach for our Bali beach day. After exploring these beautiful beaches, we will have an authentic Balinese dinner.

Day Three:
bali swing & Ubud Tour
Today we will visit the Bali Swing that is created for those of you who want to enjoy swings on the island of Bali with very beautiful scenery in the forest. After this amazing journey we will head to Ubud to get a taste of the culture and activities that the village has to offer.

Day Four:
Bali Bedugul And Tanah Tour
Today will have the opportunity to visit the beauty of Bali. We will also visit the Bali Handara Gate, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, Wanagiri Hidden Hill, Tanah Lot Temple. While doing these fun activities we will have an authentic Balinese meal.

Day Five:
Bali Lempuyand Tour
We will visit Lempuyang Temple, known as The Gate of Heaven and visit other interesting sites in the Eastern Bali islands. We will also visit Tirta Gangga Water Palace and the Tukad Cepung Waterfalls. A fantastic Balinese lunch meal will be provided.

Day Six:
ATV & SPA DAY
Today we will get down and dirty as we take an adventure around Bali in our ATVs. We will have a professional guide take us around all the island and the hidden spots. After our ATV journey, we will visit our local spa for pampering, which will include a full body massage, foot bath, body scrub and a flower bath.

Day Seven:
Balinese cooking class
Today we will meet with a local Balinese chef that will meet us too and take us to a local flea market. We will learn how the local people grow, pick, prepare and cook their meals. On this day, it's recommended that you bring your appetite!

Frequently asked questions
How Would I Get to Bali?
The best and easiest way to get to Bali would be by via airplane. There are travel agents on staff that will help you find the right flight to Bali. Send an email to thehighjourney@thehighjourney.com! Please be sure to enter where you would be flying from and for how many people.
Which Airport Do I Fly Into?
You will arrive at Bali's airport (DPS) and departing from (DPS) it is recommended to arrive between the hours of 12pm-8pm and departing after 9 am on the final day. If you have any issues booking flights our agents will be more than happy to assist you with your flights.
What Time Is Check-In?
We know that you can’t control the timing of flights and when they’re scheduled to arrive. So as long as you land on the 9th you will be able to check-in anytime in the day. We wont have you waiting around until a certain time. Right when you land you will meet your driver and he/she will take you to the villa.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK OUT?
Check out from the villa is at 11 am.
IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
Yes, all transportation is included such as airport pickup, excursions, and airport drop-off. Transportation is not included when needed for your free days but it can be easily arranged.
WHATS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
You will be responsible for your flight getting to Bali. Pricing above also does not include travel insurance, visa’s, entry fees (if required), spending money on different excursions (drinks, extra food, gratuity etc)
Is My Deposit Refundable?
Your deposit is non-refundable after 5 days of payment.
What Payments Are Accepted?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). We also accept Paypal.
If I’m sharing a room can we pay separate or does it have to be on one bill?
Yes we are very flexible with payments. If you’re sharing you and your friend can billed separately. If you would like to pay on one bill that is also accepted as well.
Do I Have to Be In Canada or The United States to Join The Trip?
No, this trip is open to anyone in the world that has access to flying into Bali.
Do I Need A Visa To Visit Bali?
If you're visiting from Canada, Europe or the USA, you will not require a visa. You will need a passport for entry, and your passport must not be expiring within six months of arrival for other countries its recommended to research to see if you will need it. Contact us if you need help with that.
Should I Get Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance is not required, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance. It's always important to travel, knowing that if there was an emergency to erupt that you will be 100% covered. We offer insurance for all trips; please inquire for more information.

What Are The Rooms Like And Will I Be Sharing?
The rooms are for double/single occupancy. If you book with a friend, you will be able to share a room with them if you don't want to share a room with your friend you will be able to request a single occupancy room. If you're travelling by yourself and you're not comfortable with sharing a room single occupancy rooms are available as well.
NOTE: If you are travelling solo and you would like a double occupancy room you will be matched at random with the same sex.
