While this may hurt us for the short term, we can take advantage and benefit in the long run. When I was working full time, I was so comfortable that I never thought I would be fired or let go. One day the company that I was working for was going through financial problems and had to lay off a few people, and I was one of them. With this happening to me, I had a lot of extra time on my hands, and I was able to create a few businesses that kept me going financially today. Sometimes things always happen for a reason, and when they do, don’t ask the question “why” figure out “how.” I want to show you how you can optimize your time and use it for good. You can be a collector of sports cards and sell what you know can make money. You can start an online fashion store that can provides clothes and accessories. Anything that you have knowledge in or a passion for you can turn it into a business. You can use platforms like eBay and Shopify that will give you the tools to help with marketing to get your business started.
Business Tip: When starting a business the number one rule is to do something you love doing. It's not always about the money; happiness comes first. You want to make sure you enjoy doing what you do and not focus on money alone because it will just feel like another job instead of doing something you love.

It's so easy to sit back and make excuses for ourselves as we go through tough times. But if you use your time wisely, you can take advantage and teach yourself something that will benefit you in the work field on a long term basis. One of my businesses has been slow for me due to what's been going on, which has given me extra time to do things that I didn't have the time to do. With this spare time that I received, I was able to learn more about marketing, the stock market, branding a business, photoshop and a whole lot more. Whatever you do for work, I am sure that there is something that you can improve and implement in your work field that will benefit you later on when things pick up.

At this moment, almost everyone is home, and if they're not binge-watching a TV show on Netflix, they're most likely home glued to their cellphones. It makes a perfect time to grow your following, with all the challenges, live streams, games and much more, you can participate in them frequently to grow your audience. Whether it's on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or Tic-Tok, you can take advantage of the low-cost attention and grow your audience. Time is a fantastic thing to have. Time is more valuable than money. You can lose money and make back, but once you lose time, you can never get that back.
